Born in Hyogo (Japan), he graduated at the University of Art in Osaka. Transferred to Italy in 1992, first Perugia and then Milan, operating in the sectors of design and graphics. In 1999 he became art director for Kawatsura SHI-KI, the collection of Japanese lacquer articles designed in Italy and made in Japan.
His works have been shown in
Europe, China, Japan and the USA.

In his work, the fascination of Eastern forms and
culture meet with the pragmatism of Western design. At
the core of his projects is the study of the material,
from which he knows how to always extract a new,
unexpected expressiveness. The play with light and
transparencies is the theme in some of his works,
while others are characterised by a dynamic
plasticity.
