- Sometimes I describe myself as a designer, but sometimes I think it's just a matter of working simply with shapes, colour and people. Since my graduation, at IUAV, Venice, I started thinking about design as a quick way to change physical environment first, and eventually change social behaviours and perceptions. Nowadays I haven't changed my utopistic mind, but I know it's neither a simple nor a fast process. After a decade spent designing products, graphics, retail space, collecting experiences and friends, I decided to go freelance. It's been the best and yet most terrible period of my life, always doubtful about the direction to take, but completely free to go everywhere. I pointed straight ahead, and in 2009 I showed my prototypes during Milan Design Week, at Salone Satellite, my products was presented at Euroluce and Superstudiopiù by Slide Design and Bosa Ceramiche and I had lots of publications and relationship with companies. I am proud to have worked with Foscarini, Mizar, Doimo Group, Crabo, Suzuki, Neinver, Disenia, Biennale di Venezia, and teached at the Politecnico di Milano with Professor Luitprandi. I'm working in Foscarini department of Research and Development, and as a freelance designer. Source: Giorgiobiscaro
